Plot Summary
Every Japanese school seems to have its own version of the Seven Mysteries, which are famous urban legends. One of the most popular stories revolves around Hanako-san, a ghostly girl said to haunt school bathrooms.At Kamome Academy, there is a unique twist to the Hanako-san story. According to rumors, those who can successfully summon Hanako-san will have a wish granted. Intrigued by this tale, many have tried to call on her, but no one has succeeded. Then, Nene Yashiro, a girl dreaming of love, decides to give it a shot. To her surprise, she finds out that this so-called "girl" is actually a boy!After some unfortunate events surrounding her love life, Yashiro unexpectedly becomes involved in the supernatural realm, becoming Hanako-kun's assistant. Along the way, she learns about Hanako-kun's important job: ensuring that humans and spirits coexist peacefully.
