Plot Summary

In a legendary battle, a mighty necromancer called the Corpse God meets his end, only to find himself reincarnated as Polka Shinoyama, a young boy living in today’s Tokyo. As he tries to get used to his new life, he soon discovers that various supernatural groups are after him. One of them is Misaki Sakimiya, a high school girl who can see spirits and has a vendetta against him from their very first encounter.Confused and scared by the danger surrounding him, Polka eventually crosses paths with Takumi Kuruya, a contractor who specializes in surveillance and hacking, and Lisa Kuraki, a crime boss based in Shinjuku. Together with these and other surprising friends, Polka faces peril as he searches for the truth about his rebirth and the destiny that lies ahead in this new world.
