Plot Summary

The story kicks off in 19th century England, where young aristocrat Jonathan Joestar is caught up in a fierce rivalry with Dio Brando. Dio, who comes from a poor background, was taken in by Jonathan's father after his own dad passed away. Unhappy with his circumstances, Dio craves power and wants to dominate everyone around him. This desire drives him to go after a mysterious Aztec stone mask that the Joestar family owns-an object that will change the path of both Dio and Jonathan for years to come.Flash forward fifty years to 1938 in New York City. Now, it's Jonathan's grandson, Joseph Joestar, who must continue his grandfather's fight. Joseph needs to learn the skills necessary to defeat the stone mask and the incredibly dangerous beings known as the Pillar Men, who pose a serious threat to all of humanity.
